"My use of natural light, instead of artificial studio lighting affects the shadows as well as the way in which the viewers eye perceives the painting, navigating the canvas to the focal point of interest where there is detail, depth of color and a radiant sense of light...all this in an effort to create a classical representation that evokes emotions. In still life painting, I am the passionate composer searching for interesting objects of varying shapes and colors to capture on canvas."
